Delete your account and data

From inside the app
This is the fastest way, and nobody else needs to be involved:
- Open PolFit and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. The account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
If you cannot sign in
Email us at polfit@verabravo.com from the address you registered with, asking us to delete your account. We will verify the request comes from you and carry it out within 30 days at most, usually within 72 hours.
What is deleted
- Your account: name, email and password.
- Your full profile: age, sex, weight, height, goals, injuries, level and preferences.
- All your training plans, active and archived.
- All your logged sessions, with their sets and comments.
- All your progress reviews.
- Your in-progress plan draft, if any.
- Any pending email verification codes.
No data associated with your account remains. There is no grace period and it cannot be undone.
What takes a little longer
We take an encrypted backup of the database every day and keep the last seven. Your data may still exist inside those backups for up to seven days after deletion, until the oldest one rotates out and is destroyed. Those backups would only be restored after catastrophic data loss, never to recover a deleted account.
What we keep, and why
Technical server logs (which include IP addresses and error codes, but not your account content) are kept for a maximum of 30 days to diagnose incidents and detect abuse, and are then deleted automatically.
